I am using the Female Barbershop template and notes above or below the staves do not show up with the little staff lines. For example, for a low D on the treble clef, there is no line through the note. How do I get them to show up?
There would not be a ledger line on the D, because it isn't necessary. Only when a note would go to where is needed - a C or a B, for example - would there be a ledger line. Just as there would not be one above the staff for a G, but there would be one for an A or B.
Ah hah! Thank you, Mike! I didn't know the correct terminology....ledger lines! Since you gave me that clue, I was able to correctly search and get the answer.
