Finale v. 26.0.1.276

It seems as though others are having problems with this as well, but I wanted to get a definitive answer as to what is happening and how to stop it...

At random times, just playing back files I have written with no problem, suddenly I see the screen pop-up below - and no playback happens.  The only fix I have been told about is to completely reinstall Finale - which I am getting a bit tired of doing.  Is there a way to stop this from occurring?
