We have been trying to set up my PX-110 Casio with Finale so that I can play the keyboard and have it written directly into sheet music. We spent a full day watching every possible tutorial and triple checking all the elements (Midi cable, Hyperscribe tool, Keyboard settings, drivers etc), however no matter what we troubleshoot it's just not working. At the end of the day I gave up and was writing sheet music with Finale manually, when my friend was playing the keyboard (still plugged into the computer). It randomly started recognising some of the notes he was playing and putting them over the sheet music I was writing. We tried a few more times and it would work sporadically and then stop working. Sometimes it would pick up all the notes and sometimes just half of the notes being played. Pretty soon it stopped working altogether again. So has anyone had this problem before? Do you know if its the keyboard, cable, or software? Operating system is Windows 10 Home, and the Finale software is Version 25.0.0.6858 .. We also tried it on the 30 day free trial of the latest Finale where it wouldn't work either. Would love your input, Thanks!
