Hi,

A new update to the November 2 font is available here.

The highlights of this version are:

- New "quicklaunch" Finale plug-in leading to the documention PDF
- More than a hundred of new glyphs (to catch up with SmuFL 1.3...)
- Better compatibility for other music software such as Dorico.

This is a free update for existing customer ;-)

If you are a November 2 customer already, you should have received an email with the link and user/password. If you have not, please email november@klemmhotline.de about it.

Best,
Robert

Cool! I like what you've done with it and may have to pull the trigger this time.

I've encountered an error with November 2.2 and Finale 25.5 on Windows 10.

If I change the Default Music Font to November2 by clicking on the font name in the Font Selection dialog box, I get this:

Using the "November2 Font Style" template renders the font properly, but the font preview is different. This is what it looks like when you simply open the Font Selection dialog box upon creating a file from the November2 template:

I noticed that a space is included in the font name when selected, which is odd. Deleting this space allows Finale to correctly identify the font:

Never encountered this issue with the previous version.

Dear George,

Thank for your feedback.

Please redownload the installer, using your Klemm id and password, from:

https://www.klemm-music.de/notation/november2/download/November_Music_Font_2.zip

It happened that a slightly corrupt version of the 2.2 installer was available at some point this past week-end, precisely with the problem you described. I believe this is that wrong version you downloaded. It was then fixed on the server on Monday first things.

So please redownload and reinstall November 2.2.

Please let me know if the problem persists, but I am confident it will not ;-)

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Robert
