What drivers work with your Roland?

That is exactly my question! I have shown one of the drivers I tried that had some semblance of working, but did not work as it should. I have tried other drivers and none seemed to work at all. When I went back into my midi setup it would not even show the driver icon even if I tried having it look again. Nothing! I have had this working before I made some updates both to my Mac OS and to Finale. Since then no connection! I am at a loss for what driver to use.

I finally (through a lot of trial) got my keyboard set up to enter notes into a file on the computer. Now I am trying to figure out how to get the file to play back thru my external speakers connected to my keyboard. If you have any suggestions please correspond. I am having a hard time understanding the manual on this. I have tried Finale manual and Roland manual. I will keep on experimenting I guess until I get it to work. What is so frustrating is the fact that it has worked in the past! The driver that I was able to get to work was the Edirol UM-1SX.

I suggest you start by looking in your MIDI/Audio > Device Setup... > MIDI Setup... to see if your synth driver is included in the pull-down menu.
