I want to place a curved line (but don't want to use ties) at the end of cymbal notes to let the player know "let it ring."  I don't find this articulation in the selection box of my file but I DO find the marking when I open a default document. If I have to create this articulation, how would I do that?  I tried loading an articulation library but nothing changed.

Please disregard...…..the new library DID have that articulation!

I have a song with five verses. The last verse is printed in with the notes for the left hand. How do I lengthen the measures vertically to accommodate extra verses?

To increase the distance between the two staves, use the Staff Tool.

You can adjust the distance approximately (= eyeballing) by dragging the staff handle.

You can adjust the distance precisely (= typing the desired distance) via

Staff menu > Staff Usage…
