I'm running Windows 10 and cfx lite version 1.010 . I set up the audio device to be my sound card but i don't hear anything when I press a key ( with my keyboard through midi or just my mouse). I've tried every permutation of settings in the preferences menu but nothing works. I noticed that on Youtube everyone else's keys are a bright white and black, while mine are grayed out. They also have a sticker under the volume slider that says: "m49/km184" but i have nothing there; it's just blank. Please help I have no idea how to fix this. Thank you.

Hi Layne,

I run into the same problem.  How did you resolve it?

I also have the same problem. I think I wasted my money on a software that doesn't work. And I was thinking of upgrading to the full version from CFX LITE

Hi there,

I use DAW Mixcraft.

I manage to find a workaround for Garritan CFX Lite

In short, I have to set 48KHz sampling rate in Mixcraft's
ASIO device settings.

Then, I reload any preset of CFX.

If I dont do the two steps prior to setting the sampling
to "higher than 48 KHz", there will be no sound in the
mix down.

Weird enough.  The MIDI virtual instrument should not matter

the sampling rate of the ASIO analog input device.

Wish all good luck.
