Win 10, Fin 2012
I'm getting a couple of messages when I'm trying to extract and export parts for printing.
The first is this:

No notes? I've never had this problem before. What are the "system fonts"? They've always worked fine before. I'm not aware of having changed anything.

Whatever pdf helper you are using is unable to find the Finale fonts and is substituting fonts that Microsoft installs with Windows. Since Win system fonts do not have notation characters, there’s the result.
The first thing I would try it reinstalling the Finale fonts.
