Is there a Gong or Tam Tam in the Garritan instruments that come with Finale V26
I don't believe so. The only place I can find a list is on this page
https://usermanuals.finalemusic.com/Finale2014Win/Content/Finale/GIFF_Details.htm
Click on Instrument Ranges to find the list.
If the list is expanded in 25 or 26, I can't find any mention. Owning GPO 5 and World Instruments, not sure that I would know what's in GIFF these days.
Garritan World Instruments has a few Chinese gongs. I'm on my iPad at the moment so I can't see how many are in there.

As far as I can tell, it's the only Garritan collection to include them besides Anthology (all Garritan collections except CFX Grand Piano)
If i want to use the large gong and it says midi note number 80, then how do I get that assigned in the score manager. Putting in 80 brings up the Aria Player to edit. But I still do not see the Gong in the instrument lists. I am getting this message.when selecting the Orch Perc. I did add the world files in the "system" library. I have ventured into a area of AU I have avoid for a long time.
The Percussion Layout(s) cannot be found for “.” You can:
- Select a new Document Style,
- Select a new instrument, or
- Manually set up or load the Percussion Layout.
Thanks for the help. I also have view a few tutorials on percussion. I realized the SmartMusic SoftSynth already had the Gong. I just was not understanding how to get the note to play. With much testing I stumble on the solution. Now I am going to attack my Integra-7. I have been only been able to use it for GM sounds.
