I have entered notes for a big band project and some of the notes are sounding incorrectly. when I enter an F and play it back it sounds an Eb etc. has anyone else had this issue. I pray its not a bug. that would be the worst bug ever!!! you would never be confident that what is playing back is what you have written.

We need more details. How are you entering the notes? Simple? Speedy? Computer keyboard? Mouse? MIDI keyboard? Is this happening with tied notes over a barline? Can you post a screen shot of problem areas?

Are entering notes in the score displayed in concert pitch (Document Menu) or a score with transposing instruments transposed?

Fall-off's and other things which use pitch bend can cause problems. If you have these techniques in your file, make a duplicate file and then remove them. Then press playback, see if there's an improvement.

no fall-off's or other articulations. the score is in concert pitch. I've had this issue before in version25. Don't know what the fix was. It just started working.
