Is there a way to display bar number performance time in the score or on a ruler? I am transcribing from a video and pausing shows the time code. This will help with identifying the correct place in the peice.

This is possible in Finale :

Measure Tool -> Edit Measure Regions. 

Style -> Time : there are several options (time, frames).

Show on every measure.

Wow thanks so much, that is powerful stuff! you have saved me hours! I spend a lot of time using that mental approach even tried writing in text notes. Thanks Michel.
