[Using MacOS 10.13.6 on an iMac with Finale 26.1 and Garritan ARIA player 1.872 (GPO 5 library)

You recently made a video tutorial showing how to use Aria libraries in Logic Pro X.That video is in the Finale blog "Using Finale’s Human Playback AND Garritan Libraries in Logic Pro X."

In Logic Pro X v10.4.5 (and also 10.4.3) it seems that is no longer possible because Logic Pro X no longer allows you to enter the number of tracks for the ARIA player. The video showed a Logic Pro X screen that had a field for entering the number of tracks. That field is no longer present. (Try it to see what I mean. . . )

What to do? I really would like to use Logic Pro X with Finale's output and Garritan libraries.

I tried using the technique mentioned in the video and was able to get it to work.  You need to make sure that when you start Logic you specify the number of INSTRUMENTS..  I found, however, that the method in the video made it much more complicated for my use (YMMV).  I've gone back to setting up a template in Logic starting with just one track, entering an Aria stereo instrument for that track, the doing the whole process over for each additional instrument.  If you try copying the channel strips it will work, but you get the same instrument as the original track.  If you have a separate Aria player for each track, you can use instruments from Finale, GPO, JABB, and even the samples that come with Logic if you change to the default player.  The drums in Garrison leave a lot to be desired, for example, and the Logic ones have more flexibility.
