MAC 10.13.6 Finale 2014.5

When I open Finale I get a request asking me if I want to improve Finale. I have been receiving this request all year and don't understand why I have to keep agreeing or disagreeing. This is bad enough. But then, regardless of what I answer Finale opens up
1. in simple entry (which I never use)
2. with use MIDI device form input (I don't have a MIDI device)
3. when I change to speedy entry it defaults to Jump to next measure (which I never use)
Can this be changed please?

What is the exact message? If that it needs to be updated to remain compatible with future Mac OS, you can't make that go away. It's your current OS yelling you that 32 bit only apps will no longer be compatible if you upgrade the OS. Finale is not telling you this; your Mac is.

Finale 2014.5 is not supported on High Sierra but does work for some people within certain limitations — follow those, it shouldn't crash. If you upgrade your OS to Mojave, 2014.5 should revert to Demo mode and will crash if you attempt to re-enter your license.

The workaround is to upgrade to Finale 26.
