I am working with a student who uses Finale on a PC.  When he shares files with me, the Instruments don't playback correctly.  I've even experienced some crashes when trying to change them to work with my Mac.  As far as I know, we are both using the latest v. 26 for each platform.  Is there something I should know when working between platforms in regard to the Aria Player and selection of instruments?  I am using the latest version of Mojave.

If I switched to a different computer and didn't get playback, I'd first try Reassign Playback Sounds in the MIDI/Audio menu. Of course the instruments have to be properly assigned in the leftmost column of the Score Manager for this to work as planned.
