How long before I can upgrade to Catalina and still be compatible with my Finale on MacBook Pro?

I've been wondering the same. Has anyone running Finale Version 25 tried upgrading to Catalina?

I'm running Catalina with Finale 26 - works fine, although you cannot quickview a Finale file in the Finder.

Unfortunately, this forum is not organized by threads. I've reported the same with both 25 and 26. I upgraded my laptop and did not do a new installation. As my laptop is really a test machine only, YMMV.

 

I have to spend a fair chunk of change upgrading other apps—many not yet ready—before upgrading the iMac that I use to make a living.
