I can't seem to insert a chord any more by clicking on the score when the chord tool is active. When I click, the arrows move showing me which line I'm on, but I can't begin to type in the chord through a double-click or anything else. Sometimes I can inadvertently bring the dialog box up, but even typing the letter there and hitting ok produces nothing on the score. I'm on Maj Mojave 10.14.6 MacBookPro 15 inch, Finale Version 26.2.1.464

My glissando is looking more like a Dotted Slur? What's going on?

It all sounds like a stuck key, probably the letter V key.

 

The key can can be electronically stuck. To fix, restart the computer.

 

The key can be physically stuck. To fix, press the key several times.

Wow Peter. That's another new one for me. No keys stuck for all my typing, but apparently when I go to use Finale. Go figure. Anyway, got out of the car, closed the doors and got back in, so all's good. (Should've done that first, right?)
