I need to notate a 7-note run over 2 beats. Where can I find the directions for this?

I also have a measure with a 9-note run over 2 beats.

Yes, I have tried every entry I can think of and scanned the entire help menu.

Use a tuplet?

 

 

In Speedy, start with CTRL+7. Then enter your seven eighth-notes.

Agreed. Tuplets is the way to do it.
