I am having an issue with playback. I sometimes use Finale to play an accompaniment in rehearsal when I do not have a piano player. I have had an issue with the file scrolling as if it is playing, and the lights flashing on the MIDI interface as if info is being transmitted, but no sound from the synthesizer. It will play other files fine, but not a certain one (which seems to change randomly). And most recently, it will play one staff but not the other... say, only the bass clef but not the treble clef staff of a piano part. If I create a new staff and copy n drag the part to the new staff, it will play. I did not seem to experience this with my previous computer if I recall... does this sound like a synth problem, software problem, or laptop problem? I do not change settings around, and they appear to be the same as always... Also, occasionally, it will stop or slow down during playback for a second or two before proceeding as if nothing happened...
