Running Finale 2014.5 (version 26.2.1.468) on Win 7 home premium 3.3ghz 8GB ram, 64 bit, Service pack 1.

I'm copying parts from a existing score that cams from a synthesizer/orchestral midi file to a clarinet quartet. I loaded the midi file, added 4 staves for the clarinet quartet and then copied various string parts ot the clar quartet. The first 45 measures work fine. But when the strings go to pizz in measure 46, the clarinet sound changes to string pizz  and persists for the rest of the piece (hundreds of measures). I just want the clarinets to sound like clarinets all the way through the piece, but I can't figure it out. I tried re-generating parts, changing MIDI/AUDIO options (MIDI/VST/AUDIO TRACKS/etc etc etc). Also tried to work within within SCORE MANAGER. But no luck. Online help did not give me the answers I need.
