Recently did a macOS Mojave update 10.14.6 and now my Finale v.26 won't playback properly.  Audio playback is fuzzy and spotty.  Midi playback doesn't adhere to the correct tempo and is sped up.  Any recommendations on how to solve?

Download and reinstall, then reboot. 26.2.1 should fix you up.

I would also do a Safe Boot: shut down, boot while holding the Shift key, login to your User account when prompted, wait for any desktop icons to rebuild, reboot.

This resets your caches to default and repairs any corrupted System paths. If you had any generic alias icons, this fixes that, too. Safe Boot has fixed a number of annoying issues on my and my clients’ machines in High Sierra and Mojave and some apps launch more quickly afterwards. In the old days going back to the earliest Macs, this was called Rebuild Desktop and done the same way.
