I entered the Wrong Chord into the song I am writing. I clicked on the Note where the chord Goes with the lyrice while I was in the "chord" entry platform as usual..but, when I needed to change the chord, It will NOT go away. It keeps coming back..what can I do???

By the way, I am new to this version of Finale, I was using a much older version for a long time.

Have you tried clicking on the chord symbol and pressing the Delete key?

(The Forum Guidelines ask you to include your version of Finale and computer Operating System; that would be helpful in this case.)

Something to try:

Switch to the Selection Tool.

From the Selection Tool, double-click the chord symbol.

This step should select the chord symbol so that you can delete it, by hitting the Delete key.

That indeed sounds weird.

Something else to try (as a test):

Switch to the Selection Tool.

From the Selection Tool, double-click the fretboard.

This step should select the fretboard so that you can delete it, by hitting the Delete key.
