Windows 10, Finale 2014 I have been getting Enigma errors (can't save) occasionally and work around by copying and saving the file to a new file. Last time I did this the copy function did not copy and I lost the entire file. I have saved this file a number of times. Can I find an older version? Thank you.

Although one certainly should expect the program to function (save) properly. Be aware that if saving doesn't work, one may be able to use Export XML as a backup (albeit imperfect).

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, although I thought I had copied the music, the copy function did not do so, and there was norhing in paste when i tried to paste to a new file. Is there a way to find previously saved versions of this file? Thank you.

Search your computer for .asv or .bak files.

Thank you for your comment. Sorry to sound so low tech, but how would I do that? I have several files with work in them and as far as I know that's where everything is. Is there another place to look for these files? Thanks.
