Hey finale forum,

I've recently upgraded from PrintMusic 2014 to Finale V26. I'm on quite a newish mac. In Print music I used to be able to break/join notes using the / button but this no longer seems to work in Finale. The quick reference guide still says its the / button. And I can't find a reference to it anywhere else. 

Does anyone know the answer this to problem?

It hasn't changed. Try it through the menus. Simple Entry tool > Simple menu > Simple Edit Commands > Modify Entry > Break/Join Beam.

 

Does it work that way? Does the menu command show the / as a shortcut? Have you restarted the computer since upgrading to F26?
