I updated Finale yesterday when prompted to do so.

Now I can't change a tempo indication in an existing score or insert one in a new score.

Instead, the software inserts an Sfz symbol which is definitely not what I need.

The expression tool dialog box where you select what you want to do does not appear.

Is it possible to roll back a version? I would not have installed this update if I had known about this problem.

Windows 10 64 bit.

Please add the program and version you are using, to your signature in the control panel.

I suspect you have what we call Virtual Stuck Key Syndrome. Normally, a reboot of the computer fixes it.

I'm getting problems with the expression tool as well in this new version. When I edit an existing tempo marking, the window gets corrupted and the tempo can be wrong too. It's not hard to get round, but it's an irritation.

BTW Finale 26.3, Windows 10.0.19041.

Finale 26.2 was fine. Looks to me like insufficient testing of the new release.

Have you tried re-downloading and installing the program?

Not yet, Adrian. I only hit the bug today. That's the obvious next step.
