I'm attempting to use Finale 26.3 with VE Pro 7.0.1056 under Windows 10.

The problem is that the VE Pro plug-in does not appear in Finale 26, even after re-scanning. I've confirmed that the scan directories designated in Finale do include the VE Pro 7 VST3. Also, I see Vienna Synchron Player, Vienna Instruments Pro, and Vienna Pianos among the available VSTs in Finale. Just not Vienna Ensemble Pro.

I've tried re-installing with no success. I've searched the web for solutions and found something about deleting certain configuration files that Finale uses, but this seems to apply only to Mac OS.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Is Finale 26.3 compatible with VST3?

Hi Vance!

You need to start VE Pro 7 server before you start Finale. I am on Mac, but I guess it's the same on PC.

The problem was that I had not installed the VST2 versions of the VE Pro plugins. Thanks to all for the responses.
