I have no audio. Playback tools don't work either.  Finale v25, Windows 10, I am using a Focusrite interface with monitors.

Yes, I have turned everything off and back on again. I unplugged the usb cable and re-plugged.

I have reset preferences.

Play thru MIDI - - MIDI Thru -- Smart     MIDI setup: see screenshot

Spent a couple hours on this already, panicked because deadline looming. No audio, no playback.

I would have expected DirectSound to show up in the Audio Driver drop-down of your Audio Setup panel.

Does the Focusrite have its own driver; if so, have you downloaded and installed it?

Since nothing show up for audio drivers it's probably not a Finale issue. Do you system sounds or YouTube playback?

In Finale, when testing the audio in under audio setup the test sound comes through.  There are multiple settings i can use to get the test sound consistantly, but none of the selections allows the music to be heard when hitting 'play' for the piece I'm working on.
