Finale v25

Windows 10 Pro

 

USING THE GRAPHICS TOOL:
1.  I select two measures that I want to appear elsewhere in my score as a static graphic

2.  I choose "Export Selection"

3.  I select "Place Graphic"

4.  Nothing shows -- only a white rectangle no matter which graphic format I use (png, tiff, eps, jpg) 

Any ideas why?

2. I choose "Export Selection" - you have to give it a name and save it - have you done that?

3. I select "Place Graphic" - then the saved image file should appear where you have saved it and you choose it and place it where you want, works for me

Michael M is correct. When you export a graphic, it's not being saved to a clipboard. You have to save it. When you place it, you have to identify what and where it is.

Yes I should have been more clear about that.  I DO save the graphic after choosing the type. Afterwards, there is just a white square.
