In my jazz orchestra score I'd like to extract the various instrument groups into a single part, i.e., a part that includes all of the 4 trumpet parts, another with all of the 4 trombone parts, etc.
Document menu > Manage Parts > New Part > from Available Instruments choose which ones you want in your group part > Add to Part > give the new part a name, etc.> OK - done!
