I'm putting lyrics into an SATB arrangement of "Billy Boy".  I've had no problem with the Soprano and Alto lines.  When I enter lyrics for the Tenor and Bass lines and click save, they suddenly change.  Sometimes one word is repeated; other times a phrase from the sopranos or altos is repeated.  I have looked up help for lyrics and watched tutorials but can't find anything about this.

What are your operating system and Finale version?


What is the score setup? S/A/T/B, or SA/TB? How are you entering the lyrics?

Hi Mike ~

Thank you for responding to my post.  I have WIndows 10; Finale 24.5 (I think).  I'm not that tech savvy and have had problems downloading updates. (I will be purchasing Finale 26 in September)

It is S/A/T/B and I've been typing the lyrics in the score.
