Finale 26.3.1.643

Mac OS 10.13.6 (High Sierra)

Has anyone experienced a crash when, having entered too many beats in a measure, the "there are too many beats in this measure" dialogue box appears, you confirm that you want to leave the measure alone, then the dialogue box appears again, then Finale crashes?

If so, any comments or work-arounds?

Thanks..

Um… don't do that?

Seriously, why would you want to leave the extra notes?

I should've been clearer. As you know, you have to dismiss that dialogue box with one of the choices of action you want to take. (Leave the measure alone; remove the extra notes; move the extra notes to the next measure etc..) Whatever choice I make, it causes a new (same) dialogue box to pop up, and when I make my choice in that one, Finale crashes. Not always, but more often than not. Never seen this before.

(I'm an original Finale user and Beta tester, BTW..)

Have you tried recreating the preferences?

No, but I think I will now.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to because I love my preferences!
