I have the 2014.5 version and I'm using windows 10. I'm trying to figure out how to create a few things for an ending (as shown in the attached reference) -
1) Courtesy key signature to indicate a return to the original key on repeat.
2) This detached, 2-measure coda (in the same original key), showing the treble and bass clef as well as the tail of a tie.

The easiest thing to do is to use the "Create Coda System" plugin. You can put in a small slur to act as the tie. In measure attributes of the first measure of the coda, select to "always" show the key signature. THis will force the previous measure to display the courtesy accidental at the end of the measure.

Actually, you can also get a real Tie End:
Speedy Entry Tool.
Click outside the staff, to exit the entry rectangle.
Hold down CTRL, and click in the staff at the first Coda measure.
In the (very technical) dialog box Edit Frame, check ”Tie End” (just as you would do in a 2nd Ending repeat).
This “Edit Frame” trick works because the first Coda measure is the first measure in a system (namely the first measure in the Coda system).
