Finale 26.3.1

I'm trying to set up a simple template for a jazz lead sheet (Engraved).  I load my document options library and everything looks as I prefer.  But when I start to make changes, things go awry.  The original Finale Template is in the key of F for some reason.  When I change the key to C, it also changes the number of bars per line and system margins halfway through page 2.  Why? 

The library I saved was from an older Finale file, but it was painstaking to set all those parameters (line thickness, etc.) and I don't even remember what I did.  I just know I like how it looks.

The settings in Document Options are not the only settings that are document specific.

 

An idea:

 

Take a look at

Document menu > Page Format > Score…

 

and make sure that all scaling percentages are as needed.

 

The settings in {Page Format for Score} are used when new pages/systems are created.

They are also used when already existing pages are Redefined (Page Layout menu > Redefine Pages > …).
