Windows 10 , Finale 26. 

   I am attempting to write a piece for voice, percussion, pennywhistle, violin, guitar and dulcimer and everything is going fine until I hit measure 37, then when in playback mode it just stops.  HELP!

Welcome to the forum!

 

There are several possible culprits.

 

First, take a good look in the window Playback Controls.

The window can be expanded, to see more options.

When the window is expanded, you can see settings for where Playback should Start/Stop.

Possibly it is set to Stop at Measure 37.

Hi Peter, I had the same problem (ie sudden playback stop) - thanks for advising of such a simple cause & successful solution!!
