2) Finale comes with some ready made worksheets. Have you studied those worksheets?

Sorry. I have been using Finale for several years for scores & parts.

I have looked through the ready made worksheets and have used a few in the past. I would like to start using them more but by converting and creating my custom made sheets to better match the rest of my curriculum.

i.e. fill in the blank short staves (1 - 4 bars) with questions to correlate with a piece or song we are currently using.

If I understand you correctly, you have some “blank short staves (1 - 4 bars)” - right?

And you need to “fill in with questions” - right?

I would enter the questions as expressions, or as measure/staff attached text blocks.
