Hello,

I just recently downloaded/upgraded to the new finale 26, and I am finding myself to be somewhat frustrated with the layout. I noticed that the various tool palettes are blocking the sheet music in full screen, which I prefer to work in. A quick fix would to just manually adjust all the window screens and not work in full screen... but then I'm distracted with desktop screen and various shortcuts... for me it seems distracting...

anyway, is someone able to help? otherwise, maybe this could be something to add to a new version. Also, the various tool icons are quite small, is there a way to enlarge them? all of this may seem small and not really important, but for me, they're distracting for my workflow.

Position your windows and palettes the way you like, and File -> Save Preferences. In theory, they should be memorized (with 2 monitors, it is not the case...).

Tool palettes are available in 2 sizes. In the program preferences, Palettes and Backgrounds -> click on the box : Use Large Tool Icons.
