GPO5, Windows 10.

Hi all.

Project Sam's trumpets (at least some of them) are supposed to have Vib (as indicated in the list of instruments). I use the usual CC17 and Aftertouch, just as I use them for the Garritan trumpets. NOTHING, no vibrato at all. Am I doing something wrong, or the promise of Vibrato in the Manual (GPO 4) is wrong?

Just curious, where do you see a list of SAM trumpets that have vibrato? In the manual, I only see vibrato listed as a technique for the Garritan samples.

The SAM Player Trumpets certainly can provide vibrato, if given the right stimulus. Are you playing live into ARIA, or using Finale, or a DAW, or other?

My keyboard doesn't do Aftertouch, so I've modified the trumpets' SFZ files to use a CC instead of aftertouch. After doing that, I can trigger vibrato with high values of my CC.

So the question is whether you're producing enough Aftertouch to trigger it. The Aftertouch instructions look the same in the non-SAM Trumpet Solo instruments, so I can't explain why one should work and the other not.

It's only the SAM Players and the non-SAM Solos that have Vib.
