Hello all!

I would like to make a tremolo in a piano part where the beams do not get attached to the staves. I have used the Easy Tremolo in the TGTools package, both the free version and the paid one, without luck. The problem is that one of the beams is attached to the staves (2nd tremolo in the pic) but I would like both to be detached (3rd tremolo in the pic). Is there any way to do this without having to do it manually? I am working on a piano reduction of an opera so there are a lot of tremolos...

Any help would be highly appreciated.

I am using Finale 26.2.2.493 on a MacBook Pro Os 10.14.6

You probably mean that one of the beams is attached to the stems - right?

 

You can use the Copy Filter to copy only Beam Extensions.

 

Selection Tool.

Drag-select a tremolo you have done manually (= with detached beams).

Then, hold down Option, and click on a beat with tremolo.
