Hi all!

Windows 10, Finale 26.3.1.520

Hopefully my video link works.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QXZ8XpXnSMlSRq-ZP8G71_NCbc9j0TQl/view?usp=sharing

This is Quaver Music, an educational site for elementary music.  When they have songs for teaching the kids, they have it that each note highlights as the song plays (see the video), so the kids know exactly where they are supposed to be.

Is there a way to do this on Finale?  Since we are still teaching virtually, I would love to be able to make sing-a-long videos for the kids, and I want to make it as easy as possible.

Not as far as I know, sorry.

Reminds me of Sing Along with Mitch Miller, and "follow the bouncing ball!"

You might look into some of the Karaoke apps.

Good luck!

The closest Finale can come is to screen-capture a playback with the moving playback cursor, but you would have to have the capture software on your computer.

Yeah. I do that now, but the younger kids find it hard to follow the cursor on screen. They seem to understand the highlighted notes better. Perhaps I should post this in the "requested features" section
