The fact that there is so much help needed on something so incredibly basic as tempo should indicate that for Finale to continue to exist, they must begin either merging with DAW's like Pro Tools (that can print out scores) or vastly improve the user experience bc problems that persist with Finale are not professional. You advertise professionalism but the software is deeply antiquated. I personally have already begun phasing Finale out of my work life and my decision to do so has not affected it in the negative. However, every time I go back to it, I am reminded that I must continue to leave it in the past. I feel you owe it to your customers to apologize and fix these errors or scrap the whole thing so that they too can begin the adjustment into learning a new software.

Somehow I doubt Finale will merge with Pro Tools, a product owned by Avid (publisher of Sibelius).

Clearly there is always room for improvement in any product, and presumably any new version of Finale will offer improvements in one area or another.

Of course you haven't said what troubles you about tempo, so your comment is of no help either to the users who offer help on this forum or to Finale developers.

On what do you base your statement that many people are leaving? And what are you planning to use as an alternative?

A  DAW won’t give you the notation features found in Finale. If pretty good audio with advanced notation is your goal, it’s Finale all the way. If you want advanced audio features with passable notation, have at it.
