And I'm hoping to find new publishers that are looking for traditional vocal music and maybe not so.

This is not a likely place for those publishers to find you. It's a users support group for those who use Finale.

I'd look to self-publish on one of the many web sites that let you do this. From there, you have to devise a way to drive publisher traffic to your site. I wish you good luck with that.

Music publishing is dead. Don't bother. For most of us, mechanical royalties are enough to buy a non-lavish dinner per year.
I put my choral music on cpdl.org with a personal copyright. Make sure your performing rights society (BMI or ASCAP) is on the score, and that the score is registered with them. That's where the big money is. I'm BMI. I've dealt with them as composer and promoter, and they're a junkyard dog about getting money from music users, which is probably what you want as a composer.

I write mostly liturgical music, and PRS don't collect for liturgical use, which is as it should be.
