Hi all,

Based on your experiences moving from Finale to Dorico, which do you prefer and which is the most accurate in Exporting from Finale and Importing with Dorico.
I have seen many posts that state Importing first into MuseScore (not Hub) and then Exporting from MuseScore to Import into Dorico.

BTW--Which settings in the XML preferences do you recommend?

I’ve never paid any attention to which I use. I do a lot of work running a scan or a PDF through SmartScore, the scanning program. I export as XML (the only choice) and take that into either MuseScore or Finale. No problems with either one.

Oddly enough, Vanessa, I just this minute checked SmartScore to see if there were various versions or configurations in the XML export. Sure enough, only one way.
