I need, want, a midi keyboard to use with Finale 27. My old Roland EP-70 Electronic Piano does not play well with Finale. Never did but it is a very old instrument. I just need a basic midi controller like the Roland A-49 - MIDI Keyboard Controller. But I don't want to buy it and find it doesn't like Finale either.  What say you?

I use a Nektar Impact LX25+ . I really got it to use with my DAW, but it gets along with Finale (25 and 27) quite nicely. They also make a 49 key version.

I have the Roland A-49, and it works perfectly well with Finale and other software.

Yes. And 26. (I doubt there's been any revision of MIDI recently...)

I like the A-49. It comes with drivers, but can be configured to work 'driverless'. It's well-built, not like the M-Audio ones I've had that have broken.
