I'm new to ARIA and Garritan. Had no problem installing the player and orchestra pack and getting it to play. I notice on the left side bottom of the ARIA player there appears to be record and playback buttons, but they are not active. Is there a built-in recording function? If so, how is it activated? Thank you.
Yes, you can record to an audio file. Press the 'Up arrow' button to select the save location for the file. Then the Record icon will be active. Press it, and start to play. Press Stop when you've finished.
Also, the buttons on the left hand end allow you to import a MIDI file, which you can then play, using the instruments you've loaded into the Player.
You can also Render a MIDI file directly to an audio file with the menu command "Render Offline".
