Finale generally needs to have access to audio in/out. You may need to talk with Apple Support about Bluetooth if you’re having connection issues. You can try working over wired headphones and see if you have the same problem—probably won’t.

Monterey solves a number of problems that users were complaining about over Big Sur. I was having problems with the NotePerformer installer but Support gave me a workaround that made it behave (copy the NP data file from the 26 directory and paste it  into the same location for 27).
