Windows 10, Finale 26

Thanks to much feedback from you all, I finally am beginning to crack open the mysteries of Finale/Garritan percussion, and Percussion Maps.

Once I figured out something about Percussion Layout Designer, and was able to delved further therein, I have found some success.

The following is one attempt using the Percussion Layout Designer followed by a view of the results within ScoreManager.
I had just a little difficulty creating and using my new percussion layout, but noticed the name I gave it does not appear by name within ScoreManager after I applied it.
I also noticed that in my selective palette of percussion that the snare drum line was added automatically. Not a problem, but I specifically left it out.
Also, the "Staff position" did not seem to make a difference in the score.
But, at least it is working to some degree.

Hi, all,

Well, just about when I think I am getting the hang of it, I get confused all over again.

I have made some headway, and have had some excuses, but honestly I cannot find a way to access all of the wonderful (potentially) sounds from my Garritan libraries. I see the list of countries and instruments, but I can't even get a cowbell to play from the basic GPOs, COMB, JABB, etc.

Is there a place in the online manual that "clearly" explains this?

Any advice from you all?
