How do you beam six eighth notes in 3/4 time? I tried using Utilities/Rebeam to Time Signature, but was not successful.

Also, is it possible to change the time signature to Common time mid-way in a piece? I am making a rhythm worksheet and want the students to see both time signatures.

Thanks!

How do you want the beamed eighths to look? By the beat? By the measure? The slash key can join or separate beams. Time signatures can be changed at the start of any measure. 4/4 can be changes to the Common time symbol via the Abbreviate checkbox in the More Options section.

Also (in the case of a gazillion measures with six eighth notes in each measure), try

Utilities menu > Rebeam to Time Signature

and Rebeam the measures to a time signature of 1 {beat} with the duration of a {dotted half}.
