peration system: windows 10 finale 25.5

My mox8 yamaha will not accept the midi files generated by finale (version 25.5) But If I use a download Midi file from https://hymnary.org/text/amazing_grace_how_sweet_the_sound (for example) the files loads perfect onto my keyboad. Now if I take that same file, open it, change it and save it and them export it as a midi file from finale 25.5 my keyboard them gives illegal file message when trying to load it. This is driving me crazy.
