Windows 10 Finale 27

The piece starts with an 8-bar rest. I make the multi-measure rest longer (Measure Tool), then respace the rest of the measures in that system (selection tool + 4). I then use Copy Part Layout to the other horns. When I view other parts, all these adjustments are undone. I've done this in previous Finale versions without a problem. Even if I change the spacing manually (no Copy Layout), the multi-measure rest reverts to its original spacing. SOLVED - I turned off Update Automatically in Document Options/Multi-Measure Rests. I leave this posted for those who might be similarly stymied. If only problems and solutions here could be grouped together.

Also, the courtesy key change from Eb to F at the end of the system (different system) is crammed. The A natural sign and Bb sign are actually touching. It looks a little better when printed, but not much.

Take a look in

Document Options - Key Signatures.

You can increase the Space Between Key Signature Accidentals.

Even an increase with as little as 1e will make a difference.

Oooh, that worked! Space after Cancelled Key is 6 EVPUS, and Space Between Key Sig Accidentals is 4. Looking much better - thanks!
