More than likely there is a conflict somewhere. Two of the most common is the print spooler and the sound driver. I would look there first.

The same thing is happening to me right now and I have a job next week that has specifically asked for Finale. Not to mention I have A LOT of files in there that I can't access to export and the such.

Perhaps it needs to be repeated, there is most likely a conflict with one of your computer's drivers. Finale v25 works and has worked on thousands of machines of all kinds and configurations. This leads to the conclusion that there is something specific to your machine that is preventing it from opening. Your sound driver or setting and/or the print spooler are top of the list.

Try disabling one or both of these and see if it loads.

If Ernest's suggestions do not give results, try starting up Finale just after you reboot your computer.

That worked thank you! Funny enough I did these two separately at first, and went so far as to change the FINMIDI and other things, but it hadn't occurred to me to do them together.

You probably need to update either or both of those drivers.  Even though you may have updated to Win 11 form 10, it doesn't mean those specific drivers got updated. Contact the manufacturer for updates. 

The print spooler can probably be restarted after Finale loads.

BTW, if you do have the latest driver for both the print spooler and sound they may have been corrupted. You still need to replace and/or update them. You may need a complete uninstall and reinstall of your printer. Sometimes it is difficult to completely remove all files associated with a printer. There are cleaners, some free, that will help.
