I use the new v27 on a Mac Monterey 12.4.
Is there a way to start playback from the selected note, without going to the playback box and changing the measure number?
Playback starts at the beginning of a measure, not from a note inside of a measure. But you might use the manual "scrub" function starting from any note, with 2 possibilities : the whole score or just 1 staff .
In the Help menu -> Keyboard shortcuts -> Playback you can see all the possibilities for starting playback, even with the Playback Controls windows closed.
